Economic Benefits

Immigrants provide countless amounts of economic benefits throughout the country. The United States prospers the most by the international individuals who move into the country. Beginning with a daily necessity, “prices for everything from fresh fruits and vegetables to child care would be higher” without immigrants (Zandi, C1). Throughout the world, immigrants with Ph.D.’s would greatly contribute to America's population. Immigrants help to build job growth almost a third more than those born in America. They also increase long-term economic growth and more jobs by encouraging foreign trade investment.

Social Benefits

Immigrants bring “drive and skill to the United States (Jacoby, 3). According to Immigration Works USA, “two thirds of the students in the United States University Computer Science and engineering programs are foreign born. So are twenty five percent of doctors and nurses. Immigrants hold a quarter of United States’ patents” (3). The economy runs efficiently because of the strive of the immigrants who take any job in any place. “Immigrants are more or less educated, so they complement [American workers] rather than compete with them,” common to popular belief (3). The United States should compliment the many immigrants along with their children for the many risks they have taken for themselves and their families. They have not only migrated to America with potential expense, but they have also “mastered English, graduated from high school, learned about America to succeed, and are willing to risk their own lives for their new country” (3).
